Yeah, that's right! I'm back at it again! It's for sure this time. So, I will be making videos now, since posts are less amusing and videos will allow it to be fun for me and will give me more of voice for you to enjoy. And so without further ado, I will start things off with a video of Sword Art Online...

Haikyu! Episode 14 Review

This episode was basically just an episode that showed Karasuno's training before going back to the tournament. As usual, it went by pretty quickly and didn't go much in depth, but for this episode I think it was acceptable. This is only because it isn't all too important and the matches in the tournament are the only thing that needs to be focused on.

I found it inspiring seeing how hard everyone was working in order to stay on top of their game and getting better. Even Tsukishima is working on becoming better and trying to block players that are at the COLLEGE LEVEL! Everyone is hard at work and I'm certain that things are paying off.

I was happy to see that Yamaguchi was working on his float serve and was rewarding to witness him getting better and having a good serve that even Nishinoya couldn't pass.

But, I think that the highlight of this entire episode was seeing the most prominent players of the top teams meeting outside the bathroom. Just a side note, I found it very funny that Hinata associates the bathroom with meeting dangerous people and he was cautious about going to the bathroom and it was even funnier when he met all the top players in front of the bathroom all at once. XD
I thought it was a great scene and was really inspirational and got me hype for when Karasuno will have his matches with those schools. Karasuno's matches with Aoba Seijou and Shiratorizawa are going to be FUCKING EPIC!!!

But, before we get too ahead of ourselves, let's see how they fare against Johzenji first. Can't wait for the next episode. Until next time! Hope you enjoyed the review!

Haikyu! Episode 13 Review

It seems that the Karsuno team is on a streak here! In this episode, they defeated Kakugawa. It was a pretty intense match. My only complaint is that the episode went by pretty quickly. It seems that this season will be following that pattern of about one match per episode. This most likely means that they will get pretty far in the tournament and the more difficult teams will take up more episodes and will be ridiculously intense. But for right now, let's just enjoy it. Moving back onto the subject, the review for this episode.

Miyagi Spring Tournament Score Check
Karasuno vs. Kakugawa (2:0/ 25-22, 25-19)

Kakugawa is pretty average team, pretty decent. Their downfall was that they became too dependent on one simple aspect and fact: the height of their first year player, Yudai Hyakuzwa. Hyakuzawa is, as said in this episode, an astounding 201 centimeters tall.

THAT'S 6 FEET, 7 INCHES!!!! THAT'S SIMPLY RIDICULOUS!

However, in the world of volleyball, height doesn't mean much. They failed as a team because rather than playing as a real team, they simply placed all of their fate on Hyakuzawa, on a single player. Not one player can stand for the entire team. Furthermore, Hyakuzawa was simply a first year player who barely understood the rules and wasn't good at passing. The only purpose of the other memebers of the Kakugawa team was to make sure that Hyakuzawa wasn't in a position that forced him to pass and made sure to always get the ball to him for a spike.

Karasuno seemed to have a bit of trouble with this team, but this is only because they were unable to match Hyakuzawa's height. I mean, if you look at the picture, you can clearly see that Hyakuzawa's spike touch is way above everyone else's jump.

But even then, they had no way of stopping the Kageyama-Hinata super quick combo, especially since Kageyama said he felt really good that day. On a side note, I found it really funny when Kageyama said he felt good. It was refreshing it to see a change in his personality, seeing him actually smile a bit and be happy. Hopefully, in the future, Kakugawa will be a much more formidable foe. Hyakuzawa will be more experienced, will still have his height(may be a bit taller), and will still have that fighting spirit.

Karasuno, of course, will improve too. But for now, Karasuno continues to move forward and will, hopefully, take this entire tournament. Next, they have they have a match against Johzenji. Let's see how interesting this gets. Until next time, guys!

New Pages and Features

I decided to add 2 new pages to the blog. One page will be on manga reviews. I will be reading manga, or at least will try to, and will be telling my own opinion on it as well as chapter updates if the manga is ongoing. Second, I added an "Otaku Ranting" page. I think this is pretty much self explanatory.  I will be updating those pages at some point in time, so be on the lookout for them.

Haikyu! Episode 12 Review

I'm back and finally at it again, continuing my anime watching and review of Haikyu! I have missed this anime for a few weeks and I'm behind and I plan to do reviews of all of them as quickly as I can in order to catch up.

So, finally, the Miyagi Spring Tournament has begun, and the Karasuno team plays their first round in the qualifiers. They play against Ougi Minami. Naturally, with all that hard training and practice from that bootcamp that Karasuno had with all those advanced teams, Karasuno had no trouble.

Karasuno WRECKED Ougi Minami! Okay, maybe not "wrecked" since they seem have put up a bit of a fight, considering that Ougi Minami did make it into double digits, but either way they lost and it looked like Karasuno was straight-up kicking their ass.

Miyagi Spring Tournament Score Check
Karasuno vs. Ougi Minami (2:0 / 25-16, 25-13)

The match started off with an ace serve from Asahi. When a game starts off with an ace serve, you already know that the match is going one way. The momentum was already given to Karasuno and Ougi Minami had no way of getting back. Karasuno was clean and perfecct. Daichi picked up a hitter's tip as if it were nothing, Hinata was hitting his famous "crazy quicks" with perfection and no blockers could commit to him, all in all, Karasuno was looking great.

Now, some words about Ougi Minami. They are the kind of team that I hate the most. They actually remind me a little bit of my team. When they really feel down, they kinda just give up a bit. THERE IS NOTHING I HATE MORE THAN THAT! The game isn't over until the ball hits the ground. We saw during the flashback that Towada gives up on saving the ball, and now former member, Akimiya, runs after the ball to get it up, but fails to do so, ending the game. Towada remembering the words and the actions of his old captain transforms into a better player, a stronger one and goes after the ball before it can hit the ground. Although they still lost, Ougi Minami has gained something from this.

A fighting spirit.

They gained the frustration that every volleyball player feels and they will be able to carry that over and become a much stronger team. I think this is what is important from this episode. Even though you put all your effort into making something happen and you fail, don't just give up and forget that frustration you feel. That frustration will be your strength and become the catalyst for you to move forward and become stronger for the next time around.

This was a pretty normal episode. Not too different or exciting really, but it was normal, average. Hopefully, the matches get more hyped as the Spring Tournament continues and we'll see how well Karasuno does against their next opponent, Kakugawa

Anime Lists & Anime Watching

Recently, I saw the anime list of a friend. It was a note on his phone that he wrote last year in August.  He just kept on scrolling. There was so much and I realized that I watched only a fraction of what was on his list. I now see that there is SOOOO MUCH ANIME! OMG!!! I MUST WATCH EVERYTHING!!!

Anyway, I want to suggest that otaku should keep a list of anime that they watched, plan to watch, thinking about watching, etc. I think it is the best way of staying on track with your binge watching and keeping up with your anime for the season. Speaking of which, I would like to suggest that you guys look at AniChart. It's an site that keeps track of an extensive list of anime, checks when they will air, and for what season it will be out. I found this very useful. It will help keep my list in check and always be ontop of all my anime shows, which is perfect. I think I will start going into binge wathching mode.

This is even better when it is paired alongside a great site to watch anime with. My friend gave a great site to use and that website would be KissAnime. From what I can see, it seems that it has a pretty good selection of anime, especially for anime that is hot and popular right now.

Check out AniChart and KissAnime! I swear it will be helpful.

Return From Winter Break

After a long and well deserved break, I am back to blogging again. I am quite behind with anime and manga stuff I will say. I know for a fact that I am because I did not watch any of the anime that I was supposed to be reviewing. I pretty much spent my entire break playing League of Legends XD

Anyway, I will get back to work soon on reviewing Haikyuu! and (maybe) Another. I did watch a bit of Inuyasha. I will voice my opinion on that when I have finished it. So, that's all I wanted to let you guys now. Just a note that I will be back with some more stuff soon.
